This feels like jumping the gun a little. Especially as it was asked earlier if there has been a “Saint X” thread where the player didn’t actually sign (apparently for Brandon Williams last year)
The tweet in the first post is from a guy who is routinely and persistently bullied by posters on Saintsweb yet still carries on plugging away. People who don’t like it when questions are asked or facts stated mainly - which is seemingly everyone over there.
I've been thoroughly enjoying our summer window, and even though there's no hard evidence for this one I'm on board and fully committed to this thread. I'm going to invest emotionally so I can be crushed at a later date.
Not exactly the greatest source, but if anywhere near true it seems like we are prepared to pay more for (presumably) one of our first choices.

This seems slightly unrealistic given the rumoured recently rejected bid was 11 + 5m. I doubt the follow up would go straight to doubling it Perhaps a third bid has been made and rejected. But surely not on a Saturday afternoon/evening. And not at double the previous bid
