The Cambridge XI will likely be 3/4 first teamers and kids I imagine. I'm not even sure Sinik and Tetteh will be able to play if work permits aren't approved in time.

All the kids in Portugal, sure we’ll be fine mind but just seem to be lacking bodies and you hardly want to risk anyone before Brizzle next Saturday

I'm sure things will develop as signings get paperwork, accommodation and fitness sorted. But he can only play the players he has available, and if that's mostly last seasons, then the team is going to look similar until the new lads come on stream and get to the pace of things.

Yeah it highlights how short we are. I was planning on doing both but not sure I can be arsed going to Cambridge for a youth game

Looks like they need games more than being coddled from tonight's showing.

Very true. Progress from Oscar was encouraging for me, looked miles off it against Malaga but tonight his touch was near enough perfect, pressed really well just needs to get some good service, Ozan looked good first 45, Seri bar 1st goal good. Really intrigued how we get on next week.

I wonder how we'll stand up fitness wise. I saw Docherty mention the squad have't actually done much running this pre season and it's mainly been technical work. Hope it doesn't cost us early on

He also said it was the hardest one, high intensity technical work is ****ing hard work which from clips looks to be present

Cant be using our own third as a base for posession though.

Yeah not enough movement off the ball. Seri was at fault for the 1st goal but literally no one moved for him

He ****ed around, but I thought there was a hint of a foul.

No one would have criticised Huddlestone, given the rest of that performance. He was one of our better players on the night.

I don't think Coyle's crossing is a problem but agree that the wing backs tonight didn't manage to get forward anywhere near as much. The team as a whole didn't to he honest. Maybe it was just Leicester's quality and control because we never really even completed a few passes in their half. Occasionally we worked it nicely around their press and released Coyle down the wing or Seri in the middle but it always broke down immediately as soon as got into their half.

They just seem to be so rushed in the final moments. Was a really nice break for Coyle in the first half and he just rushed it and scuffed the cross to the first man. Just need to relax and find big Oscar he’ll do the rest

The wing backs played very much like full backs and KLP’s absence on the left wing and the missing link up play with Fleming was clear to see.

It will be interesting to see how Fleming gets on playing that wing largely alone.

Or see what happens when the players they've signed for that position get to pull a shirt on.

I made the comment at half time. He made quite a few very good passes that could have led to attacking momentum if we had taken advantage of them. He was less auspicious in the second half.

Coyle is no wing back. Literally nothing went down his side. But yet he is seemingly captain.
