Anyone happen to know if they issued new passes for the corporate car park, or if last season's are still being used tonight?

Roger DeVries had Best in his pocket that night. Best had a bottle of *Mackeson in his.

    *Other brews are available.

McKechine made the mistake of 'leathering' it. He should have gone for guile and placed it. Moments like this change history books.

Biggest problem tonight will be getting a pint on the way to the game as the pubs will be rammed with people getting ready to roar on the Lionesses.

You're right, he did save the Law penalty and I was equally pissed off when Waggy laughed after he'd missed, although even to my young mind I reckoned he was just embarrassed. Don't think Waggy or Chillo ever took penalties did they? Always Ken Houghton from memory.

Looking forward to singing ‘Corendon Cup champions, you’ll never sing that’ to the Leicester fans at full time.

From memory kechhers walked towards the rest of the players in the centre circle, but no one moved forward. He stopped, then turned back, took the ball, shrugged his shoulders at Alex Stepney as if to say wtf, then hit it as hard as possible. Stepney got out of the way.

Ken Houghton took them as you say, if he wasn't playing Ian Butler took them.

I seem to recall the two Ians either winning, or being runners up, in an out of season penalty competition - both had to take pens and both took a spell in goal (if my memory serves me right).

Pretty sure that was 17 year-old DeVries' debut wasn't it? First half he marked Willie Morgan out of the game then Best swapped over to have a go in the second half and was similarly schooled by the youngster.
