It also assumes that none of Broja's teammates ever had issues with him. I'm pretty confident a few did.

I always got the impression that Broja thought himself bigger and better than the club/teammates, and didn't feel like he needed to work as hard because of his talent, and the fact he was coming from Chelsea. Ralph recognised that and called it out. If that's what his issue with Ralph was, then I am backing our manager all the way on that one.

Could be any number of things. Not really fair to base judgement on an assumption, but yeah, I do it too. We all do, so fair enough. In defence of Broja, I think having the manager of the club you've just joined on loan going public with his criticism of you, would be a valid reason for causing a bit of dislike. Or it could be more to do with the role Ralph expects our strikers to play; ie; running around chasing defenders. Again this is a big assumption, and probably wide of the mark, but the fact that Ings seemed to get pissed off at times might add weight to this theory.

Too many questions and never enough evidence unfortunately for us lot. But it's fun to speculate.

Could be any or all of the above, but I always felt that he didn’t like being played as a lone striker.
He always looked unhappy, in that role, as I think it kind of pinned him into that relentless role of chasing the ball across the opponent’s back line, instead of sharing that role with a partner.
I also think that it prevented him from dropping deep,or taking up wide positions that allowed him to run with the ball, instead of chasing hit and hope balls over the top.

How often was he played as lone striker? And he was dropped at the end of the season when we played two strikers more often than not

From what little I have heard Ralph’s training is very hard compared to most. Then you add in the various comments about not wanting to play as a lone striker , not liking the high energy style etc

Points to laziness and kind of backs up any theories that he already thought he was amazing and didn’t need to work as hard.

Gosh the idea that some people think that he got upset that his new manager called him out for not working hard enough - at the start of a loan spell where he was being given a chance to prove himself! Jesus wept. Is he that soft and delicate? If that is how he is then I doubt Tuchel wants anything to do with him at all.

And if he doesn’t like playing as the lone striker then he is very much choosing the wrong club. West Hal play with one. You can say that is because they have only really had one. But they aren’t going to sign someone to ease the pressure on their only striker and then proceed to both change their formation and play Antonio in every game

Ah ok - I think internet discussion forums might not be the right place for you if this is your stance and position on things

Steady on! In my post that you took objection to I alluded to one tiny piece of knowledge (which comes second hand from one player in the squad who is the only one I have ever claimed even a tiny amount of insight on). The rest was extrapolation or responding to the comment of others

As for the most recent one - clearly the wrong choice of words

Right, firstly, apologies for the insult. Genuinely.

We all read things on here daily that we disagree with, and we think are bit stupid. But there's a way of going about expressing disagreement. It can be done - believe it or not - without being offensive. And for me your comment wasn't that bad, of itself, but it was sort of the tip of the iceberg. I read a lot of your comments (not just to me) that do have a condescending tone to them. It just gets a bit tiresome. Because like I say, really none of us know a whole lot and we are all just guessing about this crap most of the time.

Thanks. I’ll watch out for my posts because it is clearly something I don’t see. I see it in the one you replied to where that time it was kind of intended (in the case where that hypothetical scenario was true)

But if you are saying it is more then I will have a bit of a look

It’s an opinion based on what I believe, just as your opinions are largely based on what you believe.
If you don’t agree, scroll on by instead of, yes, responding in a condescending manner.

Doesn’t quite fit with Ralph’s comment that there was a boys club including Broja, Valery, Tino, KWP - and a couple of others - that hung out together and got on really well. Seemed to me like the makings of a future spine in the team

“Boys club” is not usually a positive term. But given it was a non native English speaker who used it he could well have meant it positively
