Just spotted it on Twitter - not a nude shot thankfully. But why on earth he felt the need to say that about Masina is anyone's guess - not exactly professional and hardly something that's going to promote a positive atmosphere in the dressing room. I wouldn't be surprised if Gino gets rid of him.

U21 coach Omer Riza has been awarded his UEFA Pro Licence. I guess he may be tempted to move on now if offers come his way. https://www.watfordfc.com/news/riza-on-receiving-his-pro-licence-im-really-proud
Dan Gosling was the player interviewed. Very open and honest. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...-man-gosling-ranieri-hodgson-changes-edwards/ Although sounds like he was mainly bitter about not being picked when he expected too.
What a great article, so many good points. But I do feel that one of the main problems, and perhaps the source of others, is the very poor recruitment, and we are no further to understanding the myriad of poor signings and consequent loss of significant money.
To be honest, I think he had every right to sound a bit bitter - I doubt he signed for the club expecting not even to be in the 25 man squad, nor to be left out at training. I'm assuming that Gino & co sanctioned this interview and its publication - otherwise we could be saying goodbye to DG too? Sounds very much like he's making a pitch for the captaincy as well...
I think I've mentioned my thoughts on the number of signings before - it's because the owners view football as their (main?) business rather than a plaything. Players are just a commodity and signing them in bulk with a view to obtaining loan fees and/or fat transfer fees provides a regular income stream. I'm just happy we have Gino in charge, whose family is well experienced in the business model - as opposed to having an Arthur Daley type such as Bassini. If he had had his way a decade ago, I doubt any of us would still be here discussing it.
I quite like it. Looks more like the colours of our old home shirt (from what I've seen, I'm not old enough to have watched us play in blue!) and more like a proper playing shirt than the dark blue one we had recently which looked like a training top.
Just went back for another read - looks like the site has crashed with all those Hornet fans from around the world trying to get on to it at the same time...
