Tbh a tough match in pre season is much better that a training game. Not only builds team bonding and fitness it prepares the players mentally for the first games

Not had a good game, to be fair. Gave it away twice in quick succession in dangerous areas.
It's a pre-season game, though. Not really something to get too worked up about, to put it mildly.

 

Bentancur, Davies, Doherty and Kulusevski coming on.
We might actually have a few players in the right positions now.

 

Remember back in December-January they were on his back as well, before moving on to Emerson

This is why we need Winksy or Emerson in the squad, because it's weird when you see people scouting for potential scapegoats

I don't get what the defender was thinking there.
Dropped deep, wasn't near Kane anyway and just played him on. Awful.
