You’d expect a champions league team to be a bit better than a team who have just come up from league one really. As long as we gave a good account and weren’t embarrassed like Liverpool were by a far inferior team yesterday!!

Emphasises how thin our squad is, it was as if we played without a forward today. In my opinion we need 2 more forwards, Goalkeeper, right back if Huggins out longterm, and cover for Evans

Jose is a grade one knob. Decent performance 1st half. Good experience for younger players and fitness levels. Underlines the need for more strikers and more strength in depth generally. On we go.
Enjoyed that Individually we obviously aren't as good as Roma but on that showing and the Rangers game we have the makings of a decent team. We have a great shape. Love the press and the movement and at last we have a manager who can organise a defence. On the down side we are seriously lacking up front. That young lad they brought on Afena Gyan changed the game second half. Only 19 Alex should be tapping them for a loan.
My thoughts exactly! Blatantly obvious we need more up front. Would like to see Broadhead back plus one other recognised striker
Nothing like a bit of positivity. It was never going to be a classic game but it's all part of the build up to what matters. Some of the performances were good, just great to see the lads on the pitch again. No nerves for that one, they will start with Coventry, and I will be just as positive then!
It was the same this time last year, we will sign quality this summer I have no doubt. We have a strong starting line up already, its just about adding depth
