Dunno why they need to wait another week like, it will be 10-11 days before the game people will be worried about them not arriving in the post in time.
Is it a drop down menu on the tickets where you change the name of the person? I saw a box saying "assign owners" or something, i clicked it and it ticked but nothing seemed to change and i didn't know what was happening. Before when you could buy two tickets per member you just clicked on two seats and went straight to check out. Problem with stuff like that is you can't have a practice run.
Daughter just informed she is now working for Castore so checking whether they have an Executive Box. She has promised me she will leak the next seasons shirts as soon as she has finished the design. Apparently she says it will be a brownish colour with a hump on the back. Ladies version is all black, loose fitting and with a hood that can be pulled over to form a full Burqa.
Apparently it’s a Pl rule that min 5% of tickets must be available per match for non season ticket holders Not sure what the membership counts towards But sounds like tickets have to be available for non membership holders
It's been around for a good few years, not sure how membership effects this. In theory it is just a sale to non season ticket holders.
Games towards the end of last season sold out to members though, there was no general sale after that.
I think its just you cant sell all your non-oppo, non hospitality seats as season tickets. Membership does not count as a ticket holder - its just they are given first option. For some games even under Ashley, tickets never got to general sale as membership holders snapped them up. They didnt have a limit of 1 per member then though. You could normally buy at least 2 and sometimes up to 4. I have contacted box office though and found that I am entitled to one of the Season Tickets they have set aside for Muslims. All I had to do was show my conversion certificate and recite a Muslim prayer of my choice, with a Geordie accent.
The ground would have 100% sold out to members yesterday if the club allowed it, that's what was happening end of last season. 1 per member would still have sold out. They deliberately held some back for next week's general sale which they didn't do last season. It's either a new PL rule just brought in this season or a decision the club has made, to try and not make it a closed shop.
I honestly think the issue with ticket yesterday was down to a number of reasons. 1. First game for Forrest in PL for 20 years meaning waiting to hear how many they will return if any. 2. Away seats being ripped out and replaced with safe standing rails and seats immediately (possibly covering their arses incase work takes longer than expected) 3. First home game of the season so interest will be at its highest - till we're top of the league Sure things will settle down soon.
