I actually wouldn't be disappointed if we declare or are bowled out in the next two balls. Get 8 overs at them tonight.
Of course the declaration will be worth it if we can pick up a wicket tonight (or two, being greedy), but I'm still doubtful about leaving any possible runs out there. It's not going to get any easier to bat on. Brown might have been able to slog another 20, we'll never know, and a lead of 175 would have been another psychological blow to Warwickshire.
Think they were just pushing at death to get the 11ovs in. Didn’t quite work but would have been fab if it had. Hard day tomorrow but hopefully we can get them ao or close to which will give us a great chance of wrapping up early Thursday.
It may just be the match situation(s), but Organ is turning into a bit of a 'pinch hitter' opener?! I guess he did play more carefully earlier this season in the rebuild first innings against Lancashire. I still think it might be time for a change, either Weatherley or Prest in as opener for Felix in the next game against Gloucs.
If we can get over the line here there is still, currently, the risk that Yorkshire will undo their good work done in their first innings and not enable us to gain any ground on Surrey
