Speaking of this. I've heard a real life person and seen some aberdude like videos and read some quirky websites and I'm convinced to do a 5 day fast. I will not eat for 5 days. Apparantly its very good and healthy and resets a load of stuff. Will start this Sunday

Probably best to do it when we haven't got the hot weather, I think next week is to be much the same, I know we eat less during heat waves, but you also need the energy to get through it, aside from just water of course. Maybe I'm wrong, dunno just a thought.

    5 days no food.

Like how much you want to eat, your gut bacteria. Some miracle stuff like diabetes (for some people).

My guts have been funny for ages and i am quite tired nowadays. Hence i want to give it a go

Its fine, i can still drink water.

The fast isnt for everyone, apparantly you will get your energy when your body breaks down the fats (ketones) and it is this energy that improves your focus and energy levels. The substance that makes you hungry to prepare you for food goes down.

You just need to make sure you keep your electrolyte levels to the norm. One thing someone mentioned is to be careful of gallstones as your liver will work more to bring the residual sugar out before it starts breaking the fats down.

Fasting is bad if you are ill, unwell or skinny (have no fats to break down). Well so i have read. Its not for everyone but i am intrigued. Will tell you guys how it goes beginning sunday

Beauty of a day down here. Been in for a surf, met up with a mate I've not seen for 2 years.

Just picked the little un up from school and back off down to mess around in the harbour

    Happy days <peacedove>

    Marnin'

What are you fine folk up to today ?

Boring day here, got to go and have my ears looked at. I've got a condition called exostosis which is bony growth over the ear canal, so my ears get blocked up when I go in the water. They use a little micro hoover thing to suck all the wax out. Nice.

Then just looking after my old dear. Gonna attempt to get her walking up and down the garden path today. Wish me luck <ok>
