Why Rooney is No 1 ?? I would put him behind RVP, Aguero and Suarez.

i cant beleive you have hernandez 5,he is like 20, he gets goals, but so do heaps of others, torres, sturridge, welbeck, anelka, drogba, carrol, ba, and others are better than hhim.

    dont let kamran see that.

Essien is the most overrated player in the world, what's he done in the last 4 years?

Got to be honest I was surprised at Cech on Saturday, the guy has been the most feared and competent keeper in the world since Rudolf retired but to get beat 3 times at your near post isn't great, he could/should certainly have done better with at least 2 of them.
And when RVP rounded him he was 5 yards outside his box...

Usual fairness with Spurs players! Benny is better than Baines at left back, I wouldn't swap Walker for 3 Sagnas, Modric would get into most people's top 5 Centre Mids and VDV is a forward, not a midfielder. Other than that <ok>

Oh and Song at No1. <laugh> you should go on the stage, it's the way you tell em!

Ekotto is average at best, Walker is hit and miss attacking wise, defensive wise he isnt spectacular.

Modric hasn't played enough games, or been stand out enough in the games he has played, I will say he is a quality player, but currently in the Premiership there are a number that surpass him.

Van De Vaart is primarily a Central Attacking Midfield Playmaker, he is not a Striker... Do you even know the players in the team you support.

Ledley King is probably one of the best Centrebacks in the Premiership, every other game (when he is fit).

The biggest issues with the list I have.. Cech has been distinctly average this season, and I think a number of keepers have made a bigger impact on their teams results than he has.

At leftback, Kolarov is clearly the best leftback in the league at the moment, he has been incredibly solid all season. Cole isnt the best leftback in the league, again his age is telling, and whilst in previous seasons he has clearly dominated that position, this year he seems to be struggling.

Mata should be higher up on the list. Nani isnt even the best winger at United at the moment, Ashley Young is clearly superior this season.

Finally Rooney at #1 not a chance. Aguero and RVP have had a much bigger impact on their respective teams, I'd even argue Suarez is in a better form, making a bigger impact for his club.

Out of interest who would you have for attacking midfielders? Do you not think Silva should be there?

Have you though that maybe your disagreeing with me because you are biased? I honestly couldn't think of three better right backs on current form. Maybe you are right that there are others currently playing better as I didn't spend too much time thinking about right backs just listed them off my head quickly, but I do want to know the other better ones are. I can sort of agree about Walker being somewhat unproven but I think he's doing more than trying to make it in the top flight. He was Villa's first choice right back last season and has also been in quite a few England squads which I don't think would've made if he was still trying to make it.

The position was CM/AM, I listed Young under wingers/wide forward position. I think Gervinho would be in that position too as he's a wide man but not in the top 5. Lampard is not as great as he used to be and I don't think is in the top 5, hence why Chelsea tried so desperately all summer to steal Modric to replace Lampard and had a 40 million bid rejected.
