It’s something the chronicle would run. Considering we tweeted all the best Callum a week or so ago suggests we were not going to get him back.
They have a manager now, Danny Schofield is the new manager - he was 1st team coach last season I think
We will have a big list of targets, he does look like a talent but I'm sure our recruitment team will find someone who fits our system really well
I just hope in a few years time we are not here scratching our heads saying first Jordan Henderson (who apparently was crap) and now Dan Neil. Just my opinion
I've never been more relaxed about our recruitment than I am now. They will have a good list of players for each position they want to fill. On to the next one.....
Reply to Oliver’s Army post. Roker Report @RokerReport · Follow “It’s understood the club [#SAFC], whom the Sky Blues face on the first day of the new season, wanted to take Doyle back to the Stadium of Light for a second season but City have nipped in and got the defender ahead of their rivals.” I don’t know their (Coventry) CB situation but I think Doyle would get more games for them than with us.
Doyle certainly lacks pace and that might hold him back from making at the top. He's superb on the ball, but a little lightweight in the air which is a surprise for a lad his size. What he might benefit from is the fact fewer teams in The Championship lump it up to a 6'5" striker with elbows like razor blades. Be interesting to see how he does
Agree. RR love a negative tweet of course, and whilst I think it's a good move for him, I'd rather we developed our own players (Ballard) than someone else's
I agree. I think the comment is a load of bollocks just to stir things up for the first game of the season.
