Goalie, 2 strikers a must. Possibly a centre half

    that would do me

I’d like some extra quality in the middle of the park.

I agree with all of this EXCEPT I think we need another striker in quickly. I hope that’s a big focus .

Personally I want us to get Broady back regardless.

Players get over an ‘injury prone’ tag, Gerrard being the biggest one I recall. Broadhead is where we wanna go ability wise we will struggle to find a better finisher and a more impactful player right now.

I think we will get it done.

The two most important players we only have one of each are Stewart and Evans, imagine last seasons run in, if either of them were injured.
Aside from his ability I have rarely seen a player with more stamina than Stewart, he played almost every minute of the season and still ran all over the pitch at wembly.

A centre midfielder is our biggest priority. Nee good having quality up top if you’ve not a player to dictate the game and make things happen.

I’m hoping Dan Neil steps up but definitely want more quality in there… Happy with our business so far but we’re way off currently

Agree with this, I hope Dan Neil will kick on but would be really worried if Evans got injured as no one else can play that role. I would love us to sign Max Bird for this role, he's only 22 but has loads of experience and will only get better.

Another player I have watched quite a lot that I'm a big fan of is Charlie Savage (Robbie Savage's boy), he is quality and the ball and is aggressive like his old man was.

Surely thats Alex Pritchard? He is our playmaker. Then Embo in a similar role and Roberts and Clarke wide, two holders to spoil and break it up and then pass it back to these lads.

I agree with your point but it's always nice to have that option of someone bringing the ball out of midfield and make the opposition commit higher up the pitch than they would prefer

Like Dan Neil? Matete showed away vs Oxford that he can carry the ball forwards too.

Exactly. Having a player like that can be invaluable at times. I think that's why Alex Neil played Embleton in a middle 2 now and again

With 5 subs and a long season he will definitely want more options than 2 for each position

My top priority would be another forward, one who can play alongside or stand in for Stewart if required. We have plenty midfield options, but none up front as far as I can see.

We will use the loan market this year as well too don’t forget, which will probably be utilised in August. There are a fair few championship teams playing the waiting game to see who’s available.

It’s fairly possible that after one of Rudoni or Morrison, and possibly Broadhead, we’d be waiting till near the end of the window before loaning in and loaning out players. Wouldn’t be against loaning in the goalkeeper, left-back and 3rd attacker.

I reckon that is all a lot of championship clubs can do. Financial pressures are biting for a few I bet. I would bet we are in the top 5 or 6 spenders this summer.

I think we need 2 quality full backs. In my eyes we only have cirkin. Hugging and Hume are unknown and I don't like shoehorning midfielders into that role

There has only been five transfers last season that were £3m+ I think, and two of them were from Fulham? We reportedly paid around that for the initial fee on Jack Clarke, and have also forked out another couple of million on Daniel Ballard.

Definitely agree we’d be around top 6 championship spenders on transfer fees, good to see that we aren’t just getting promoted to make up the numbers. Haway Kyril. <cool>

Hate to be THAT be person, but Neil couldn’t cut it last season. He was leaving evans exposed constantly and our fans blamed evans because Neil is a local lad. He needs to do a lot of work before he’s ready to play alongside Evans. Morrison would be a massive upgrade in that position if he was to come in, regardless of the transfer model. Pritchard is a number 10, he’d play ahead of the 2 in the middle. O’nein is a battler but he’s not the playmaker we need IMO. Still a very good utility man.
