Not strictly true. I never advocated banning anyone, but after receiving complaints about the continued bickering (and content of it), I passed it on to syd who deemed it the most sensible action to take.
Dai they never came here in the first place, and the teams I mentioned above have about 50-60 threads maximum since January , supporters went elsewhere it's that simple and these teams supporters were never active on here at all. You look at man utd, man city, Liverpool, Newcastle, Sunderland, everton, Norwich, qpr , us chelsea, arsenal and some others and you will see a lot of activity. And dai the statistics simply do not back your claims at all, if supporters of certain clubs never came here in the first place it hasn't been deserted its the fact that they had elsewhere to go.
I think what happened was that certain teams on 606 came here, and fans of other teams decided amongst themselves whether to use this forum or one of the other alternatives set up. I've noticed on the other forums, that teams with low usage on here have high usage on there and vice versa, but Jager is right Dai, this is far and away the most successful replacement for 606 going from what I've seen, the numbers here are huge compared to other sites.
I agree with the previous comments by Jager & Scott, they never came to have deserted!! I only noticed the amount of threads/posts by certain other clubs a month or so back. I was a bit surprised at first that fairly big clubs had so little activity. I'm sure they didn't come over in the first place & highly unlikely to change now, a pity!! I only post here & sometimes on the Cardiff board. I've come to read Planet Swans more of late, but haven't joined as of yet. Sometimes been known to comment on Walesonline/thisissouthwales too.....
i only post on this site, tried a few times to get on planet swans, but they've never send a reply(probaly know i'll upset half the ***** on there)
Planet Swans to me is like GC on here, and I have no interest in it. Frantic and, while there is good content on there, it takes too long to sift through everything else.
And to back up my thoughts dai, this is what has happened in less than 24 hours since the post of stats I posted: 5,877 posts 182 threads 19 new members Hardly a dying forum
try going on the wigan, wolves and many others, and tell me this 606 is thriving, its getting less and less every week....
Dai they never came here in the first place, wigan has 81 threads, wolves 97 and that is since january when not606 changed names and came the main replacement for 606. There are a few posters on each forum but the majority of the fans from 606 that support these clubs went elsewhere, it plainly obvious!
Also I forgot to put this in the comment above, if the forum is dying explain almost 6k posts in less than 24 hours ?
do you think I'm stupid or what. i have checked every single premiership clubs usage and dont say they have never been on here because they have, you now find that not6 606 is dwindling and don't argue with me the facts are there for all to see...research dear boy research and research says I'm spot on.... Go and do what i did and check to see what activity is going on now to when this not 606 started in its hey day....facts with me that you should know by now that i only deal in......and the fact is not 606 is losing punters by the week......

Fair comment but I Thought Moderators were not supposed to be WUM's? Or was this just a discussion point clearly lost in the tumbleweed and windswept wastes that are the Wigan not 606 site.
No one posted on the Wigan 606 site before it was shut. It was mainly WUMS and Jacks complaining about Roberto. So they will not move onto here.
