I would like to see somebody put him back into midfield , he just might then fulfil his early potential as never looked the part at full back, idiots in our academy thought better and ruined his chances here.

Yeah I couldn’t work that out. Always looked like he could “play the game” in CM then ended up right back and faded. Didn’t look half the player after that

I needed a little help on that one:
If you say that something is not much cop, you mean that it is not very good, and is disappointing.
    [British, informal]
Today's top managers weren't much cop as footballers originally.

This. He looked decent in his first game against a team that had already won the league and barely tried against us that day.

    He's bang average.

He looked above bang average to me in the few chances he got at first team level here and at South Shields, he is first and foremost an attacking mid field player and until he gets a chance to prove it non of us will ever know just how good he is. Nothing is easier than to condemn players over a game or two I wonder how often players like Philips or Vardy got slated and told they were bang average before they found their vocation in the game, my guess is they probably did.

Bali I'm afraid will not make any higher than top end of Div 1.
That's if he has worker bees around him.
He just can't cut it I'm afraid.

Sadly I think you're right. I've not really followed him since he left, but it does seem as though he's not pulled up any trees, development wise, since leaving us. Looking at his Wikipedia page, he had a loan spell with Peterborough last year, bit it mustn't have been that great if he's not being considered to go back there this year.
