    Disappointed in that.
I think the guy is a good player.

Lots of departures, but no new blood.

Famewo has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent transfer (undisclosed fee) too.

Latest rumour is Plymouth taking Bali Mumba on a year-long loan.

At least if we get the "trimming the squad" bit of our transfer dealings done soon, we might be able to bring someone new in before the season starts.

Ok there may be some new faces at CR: Sara from Brazil (injured at present) also courted by WBA, Ingason, Icelandic lad and Tymon from Stoke a LB. Tymon fee quoted as £6m with Leeds also interested. Read somewhere that fee for Sara is 10.8m Euros which, with the exchange rate fluctuating constantly could about £9.0m. Seems like a lot of money at stake here so these rumour may be what they seem, just rumours.

I think the club are looking at Sara as a loan with option to buy if promoted, yet to be agreed with Sau Paulo yet though

He’s looked decent enough but final decision making has looked poor at times. Hard to teach that when he’s not playing regularly so best option is to loan him to someone in our league where he can play week in week out and develop, a bit like Sinani.

I don’t see why we would go for Tymon, a lot of money for us to spend when we already have Gianoulis and McCallum, with Bryam, Aarons and Sorensen all able deputies

Is that confirmed? Can’t see it on the official pages.
Shame, but perhaps that means Aarons isn’t going? I would have thought we would have waited until we knew that for sure before making a decision on Mumba

Gabriel Sara nearly a done deal. €10.6m on a permanent. Add ons being discussed at the moment. Have we sold someone we don't know about?

They're softening us up for an announcement that Pukki is going.

Yes, that seems to be near completion with 'by tonight' being mentioned (Brazil time, most likely). Can't see how we'd manage a £9m fee, but it would probably be paid in installments if it goes ahead. Perhaps the new midfielder we want could come in on loan.

From what I recall, the Belgian club interested in Tzolis were potentially going to agree to pay around what we bought him for last summer, and they've recently sold an attacking player. Could be the dominoes falling into place.

I don't think we can afford that kind of permanent fee unless we've got a significant outgoing, and the only real rumour has been Tzolis.

For what it's worth, post Dereham Smith sounded pretty certain about Pukki staying, he wasn't cautious with his language around that.

Sara is apparently earmarked as the "8" who completes our midfield, but I believe he has played a range of attacking midfield roles too, so would at least be cover there.

Nicked from twitter (@rbecks17), and missing Hugill, Tzolis and Onel.

What do we think? I don't hate the way it'd be shaping up. I think Cantwell, Sargent could play other roles to increase options/depth, but an injury to Hayden or McLean would leave our central midfield very thin. It's getting there though?

It'd be great if it worked out that way, though I thought we were looking for a loan. Sara could be a great addition.

Put it this way, I'm totally confident he'll be the best Brazilian we've ever had...

Verified twitter account at least. £9m, should be sealed in a few days depending on paperwork, work permit, medical.
