Yeh. I saw that. I just wanted to make sure Treble was aware that there was no way a General Election was ever going to happen as a result. Will be interesting to see who puts themselves up for nomination as new party leader.

Not sure I want Boris running the country in the interim. He ran it in such a haphazard way when he was properly in charge - it would be like a kids birthday party if he was just doing it as a fill-in.

Maybe they can bring the administrators in, like they do when a football club is having problems.

You need to listen a bit harder - that's the grand total of severance pay because there are so many of them resigning!

It does make you think though that those resigning today, when they know he is going to step down anyway, are probably not doing it for altruistic
reasons, but because they don't want to miss out on a payout!

Yep, I didn’t make that clear but you’re right.

They should waive that payout or donate it to charity.

They won’t though, coz they are all self serving parasites

Don't see why they get severance pay - they just go back to being MPs on their usual MP salary anyway. In any other job that you resign from you don't get severance pay.

In any other job you don’t get paid £82k and then make another £30k claim in expenses for food and travel.

Almost as weird as a football manager who failed at his job getting his full contract paid up when he's sacked.

None of this **** makes sense.

MIght be the focus by the government AND NHS on what is now a fairly innocuous illness in Covid, and the fact that people with serious, terminal illnesses such as Cancer, MS, ALS etc are being ignored or overlooked.

My 80 year old father in law passed out on Tuesday in the school field while he watched his grand daughter, my daughter, during her Sports Day. He is 80 years old, and has Emphazyma and Diabetes.
He collapsed, lost consciousness for more than a minute and went white as a ****ing sheet.
I rang 999 and they told me it could be as long as 3 hours before they had an ambulance available!!
What kind of bullshit is that? 3 hours?
Turns out his diabetes medication had been prescribed wrong and it had made his blood pressure plummet to dangerous lows, hence why he passed out, but what if he had been having a stroke? 3 hours? ****ing pathetic

It's a fking mess fella purposely done ofcourse so private companies can take the strain at a higher price lol.......I'll say it before and I'll say it again....John pilger made a documentary about the selling out of the nhs and ofcom who are supposedly neutral chose it couldn't be aired until after the last election took place.

I stand corrected JT though I did start by saying it was pie in the sky <whistle>

Forgot it was the triggered tory vote. Mind you, would've been entertaining to see the tory faithful on those benches squirming if the opposition had called a vote of confidence. Certainly would've had more chance of it going through before Bojo resigned than after it.

That should be a massive worry for everyone, the silent selling off of the NHS.

Its the one good thing government has done for the people and if its allowed to go into the hands of profit makers then this country truly ****ed.
