Patel. What a hypocrite mind. Breached the code on bullying, demoted for dodgy dealing, breaches human rights. Wants the seagull to resign
I'm seriously worried about the state of the country mate, it's starting to come apart at the seams. Someone has to force this lunatic out and get a grip on things.
Tenerife with family and extended. Going well so far. Trips are harder with 2 kids like. Couple of meltdowns from the 7 month year old but other than that. All good.
Hopefully gone by close of play today. I'll be having a few cold ones to celebrate as soon as the news breaks. Goodbye Boris.
Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others that have been tried... Churchill (when he was voted out after the war)
Brandon Lewis gone now, a despicable phoney who's tongue was so far up Johnson's hoop you could only see the soles of his shoes. He's now quit basically saying the PM is a liar, a fraud and lacking integrity. This is a man who defended Dominic Cummings, and Johnson for defending him, when he went on a 500 mile jaunt during lockdown. "Mr Cummings acted reasonably and legally", he said, despite it being unreasonable and illegal. Ironically once sacked by Johnson Lewis totally switched and attacked him,. This because Cummings dared to tell the truth about his hero, Dominic Cummings "It is sad to see the PM and his office fall so far below the standards of competence and integrity the country deserves." Johnson had previously backed Cummings, after he'd gone on holiday to Durham, and said, "I believe that in every respect he has acted responsibly and legally and with integrity." So Johnson defended Cummings then sacked him, Cummings defended Johnson then called him a liar and Lewis defended them both then attacked them both and called them liars ... ... and these, we're told, people of the highest integrity, ffs man
Spot on. The fault of all of this is that because the numpties gave a massive majority to the party of only 3 words and ge was the leader the power hungry became nodding dogs. The real threat of losing power has given them energy. Farcical
I don't think people are numpties tbh ... ... I didn't have a clue wtf Brexit was for and still don't tbh, the various arguments were beyond my compression. People seemed to want out to take us back to a cosy time of the British Empire, pints instead of litres and cod suppers for all. That's fair enough, people are entitled, I just think we've thrown away more than we yet realise.
