Boris Johnson windmilling like a pisshead who's been in wetherspoons since breakfast 42 government resignations and one sacking
Typical, I go to the bog just in time to miss Gove getting sacked It's like Germany beating Brazil 7-1 all over again...
He's resigning today... ...which is a shame because the last few days have been great and I'd dearly love to see the ****s rip themselves to pieces forever.
Education minister resigns on Tuesday. New one appointed Wednesday. Quits Thursday. Chancellor quits Tuesday. Replace Tuesday night On Wednesday the new one tells Boris to quit On Thursday he publicly tells him to quit. After 53 resignations and 1 sacking in 39 hours the twat finally takes the hint and resigns...but not until Sept or Oct
Which absolute ****bag will the Tories pick to replace him, I wonder? There'll be plenty of backstabbing and ****-stirring going on until it's over.
I hate this rhetoric. Blair was far from perfect, but it just feeds into the Tory natural leadership narrative. The current system won't elect someone like Corbyn. I'd prefer Blair to Priti Patel or Michael Gove.
Blair knowingly lying over Iraq having weapons of mass destruction makes him a war criminal in my eyes. He stood up in the house of Commons and said "this is not about regime change, if saddam gives up his WMD there will be no war"...all the while knowing that there were no WMDs. Saddam Hussein was scum...who the Tories happily armed to the teeth throughout the mid to late 1980s when they were slaughtering their own populationand at war with Iran. They until he pissed them off by invading Kuwait. Blair used this to back up his lies in order to go to war in 2003. It led to the slaughter of tens of thousands on conscripted soldiers and hundreds of thousands of civilians. Unforgivable in my eyes
Did he knowingly lie about Saddam Hussein having WMDs? That's not my recollection. He overdid it on how strong the evidence was, but I was under the impression that he believed it.
He lied...his government briefed the media that Iraq could fire missiles that could hit Britain within 90 minutes. The UN made it clear that they had NO evidence that Iraq had WMDs. The lead UN inspector made that clear. Most governments refused to get involved because they knew it was bollocks, that's why it was Bush and Blair. Blair knew the truth but chose to lie, the rest is smoke and mirrors to give him plausible denial
