Workers at Cadbury’s have just secured a pay rise of 17.5% spread over two years. Let’s hope public sector workers don’t get any ideas……

You could have watched it on BBC or Sky without the emails, Beth.

No one worse than Boris? Unfortunately I think there are worse than him in this world today. 2 still in power at least, plus Trump.

This. I don't think May, Cameron or Thatcher had the same dreadful character failings that Johnson has. Nor Blair or Brown. I'd say Major too but some may fairly point to his affair. All of the above had a shred of decency that Johnson just doesn't have.

If the Tory party can’t get its act together and bin him and he doesn’t walk of his own accord, can the opposition engineer a no confidence vote in him as PM rather than the government, which would get most of the Tory MPs voting with it?

I’m not a constitutional expert, and I’m sure you know more than me.

might have to do with him and the likes of Mogg seem to have a competition of who can make more personal wealth from Tory policy

If a no confidence vote is passed in the HoC, from memory, a new Govt using any make up from the current HoC would have 14 days to win a new confidence vote. So would require a new PM at breakneck speed or a caretaker.

    I tried and couldn't.
GB News showed the liason committe direct and without comment.

    The emails came after.

I am grown up enough to watch a factual broadcast and make my own mind up about what I have seen

( and yes ..at points I was squirming for Boris...they ripped him apart. )

But those little squirms were quickly replaced by horror by his immediate response back into arrogance.
He is not normal..he ignores criticism.
His self belief and loathing of others is unbelievable

BBC and Sky both showed it without comment, too.

It was horrific, though. I almost felt sorry for Johnson, but managed to resist it. He's a narcissistic sociopath.

So you have record numbers of resignations from the cabinet, and then you sack one of the ones who have actually stayed...? Don't get that.
