Can we infer the ‘bigger’ premier league club was in the top 10 last year at least? No names mentioned then…

Any other strikers potentially on the horizon? Barring Estupinan. I know the plan is to have at least two new ST’s.

Not that haven't been mentioned already, but I've not doubt we are looking at players who haven't been mentioned, so it could change

Striker wise I feel it’ll be get Estupiñán through the door and then work on another. We’ve been stung before by the sounds of it with being close and it falling through.

    Another will come though.

He’s turned down the contract because he heard that Vern’s reputation is on the line and will remain in tact if he does. Deal is off.

He was linked a few weeks ago but I’ve heard Ayoub El Kaabi from Hatayspor could still very well be an option.

I'd love us to go for James McAtee now Traore is inured. He's basically a mini Phil Foden

Swimming is the answer for me, it helps I’m part fish to be honest, all the strain of gravity on your joints is gone in the pool, you don’t have to go mad and do 500 lengths, just a steady push, Breaststroke is my favourite as I don’t get out of breath too quickly that freestyle does. In February I could hardly swim across the pool at ennerdale underwater, now I can go the full length. As I’ve lost weight and the strength in my lungs has returned I find I can push myself more. What’s so weird is if it wasn’t for my wife’s heart issues I would probably be touching 18 stone and have real trouble climbing the stairs at my house, I literally run up the buggers now…. I’m absolutely starving now, the old me would be down stairs stuffing my face, the new norm has a pint of water next to my bed. The other day while at my daughter’s house decorating her mother in law came by, I’ve not seen her in months. The reaction when she saw me gave me so much confidence, “ oh my lord Norman, is the at you ? You look fantastic lol, said I look 20 years younger, think she now fancies me lol, I know it’s a bit of ego but by hell it makes you feel good…I’m not going down the avenue of a gym, found this trainer on the internet whereby you just use your body weight and exercise at home to improve your form. Time for bed said zebadee!!! Nite nite…

As I say in my post, I never said he did, I'm pointing to the people who have him as a 'reliable poster' along with Toast and Howden who actually do have inside knowledge. No mischief if you actually read what I said.

Estupinan is a good player specially dangerous in the air but he's nowhere near good enough for the big three in Portugal. Nevertheless he's Maggennis 5.0 a big improvement.

To add on the Seri front:

From someone who would be in the know, Seri was at the training ground on Tuesday.

There are others, less consistent but Urika, 1moreagain have certainly got contacts with occasional bits of info also.

Does it really matter who is itk though? As soon as something doesn't immediately happen that they get info on, or something changes they'll get pelters for being 'full of ****' anyway.

May as well just see where we are when the window closes, and also see where we finish next season and the season after when judging transfer policy.

Like with the takeover. They said it would happen, it happened, but they got called out cos it didn't happen in the timescale they were led to believe.

But it didn't happen on the timescale Acun was led to believe either due to a certain someone wanting to field offers for players in Jan and looking to frustrate the sale cos he wanted to stay 'important' even though his dad wanted out.

Too much reaction from some to every twist and turn.

See where we end up in the medium term. And enjoy the excitement of looking up not down.

No, agreed, it doesn't. And in fact someone like OLM who just posts things as they appear on twitter with confirmed sources (I try to do the same) is actually better in a lot of ways. I was purely clarifying and thought I made it pretty clear what I was clarifying but I guess not.

As much as we've had our differences, I've enjoyed your retrospectives this close season on YT BTW.

Don't always see eye to eye but credit where its due
