Back to the tennis, I used to love Nastase, but I really liked Lendl, too. Very different characters.
Not if you're a natural like me. Seriously though, it's not that difficult to be an adequate snooker player. Hard to be a very good player, but that can be said of any sport (or pastime).
It is the hardest, and winning the World Championship over that amount of frames and days is the toughest mental assignment there is.
I think it's incredibly difficult to master the cue ball control. I used to play league snooker and most players could pot a ball, but it's getting the cue ball in the right place for the next shot that's the challenge imo. I of course was quite good!
Nick Kyrgios Is an embarrassment to Australia and tennis in general. They should fine him out of the game. The umpire should have the right to administer cautions, fines and bans on the go. l detest bad sportsmanship. Game, set & match.
Your wife is right. Football matches are shorter and less intense physically because professional footballers cover their assigned territory - they don't chase up and down the court for every ball and rarely sprint to get to a ball which is meant for them. When my son first started in Little League it was different. Then the ball would often be lost, submerged under a welter of 20 kids chasing it up and down the pitch in order to get a swipe at it, often missing and connecting with the nearest kid's head instead.
