Think O'Dea will come in for some stick because it was such a routine out ball & he seemed to almost run past it.

That being said I think White put the ball out for a corner under no pressure at all so theres clearly a communication problem in the back four. Maybe Lonners was a bit more vocal, im not sure <ok>

Should'nt it be Sir Bucks (heard a whisper he was on the New Years honours list) services to spending time at the pub whilst the rest of us work <laugh>

Is it only me that is disappointed with our set pieces. Snodds takes all our corners, and very rarely picks out one of our forwards, Lees got on the end of most of them. Who remembers John Sheridans corners, and the way he used to whip em in...

    elland <ok>

I'm actually in the office today and not too happy about it. Had a mountain dew energy & two pro plus chasers in a bid to get back to the real world <laugh>

Agree with you about set pieces, but Snod has got 8 assists this season so his ball in must be alright. Sometimes I wish he would just hammer it accross the face of the goal so people could throw themselves at it as the searching ball hasnt worked to well for us. (saying that hasnt O'dea & Lees powered one a piece in?)

I think we are a real threat from corners and set pieces Snoddy seems to know what hes doing,

occassionly he has a few games where he doesnt get it past the first man but thats rare!

    Bucks

I was optimistic of Rachubka because I heard good reviews over pre season!

He has been a big let down for me, seems very similar to Kasper,

Great shot stopper but command of his area and distribution is poor, seems to stay rooted to the line far too much whereas Lonergan and (Marshall yesterday) always looked confident coming to collect the ball which then installes confindence in the defence

kissa, I listened to everyone of the pre season games mate & I thought Rachubka would be a serious challenge for the no 1 Jersey so I am a little disapointed that he hasnt taken his chance as well as he may have liked.

    Get well soon Lonners!

Thought Snod was **** yesterday, was crying out for Sam to come on for him. I know he scored but his slowness in possession is astounding sometimes. I think we would have won had he gone off after an hour, Cardiff def didnt like a bit of pace against them and Sam ruled them on left when he came on.

Did O'Dea have concussion before the game, whats all that about if its true, why on earth did he play?

First half was absolutely dour, seen more dynamicism from crowd and players at a reserve match, although crowd rely on players to get them up for it after the initial firsr few mins. Good for those who went though, could have been far easier to save pennies and watch on telly.

Elland, I agree with you re corners in first half, but in second we were really whipping them in Andy Hinchcliffe style.

O'Dea probably played as Grayson did'nt want to change a settled team, and Kissa was terrible last time he played, and Bruce is out of favour (same as Connelly begining of season)

Shame we don't have a few big target men, Do we have ANYONE over 6'0. Most other teams (Pags bought this to our attention a few months ago) make us look like dwarfs

Snoddy was the only one doing anything in the first half Phil,

He doesnt use his pace to get by players he tricks them I thought he had a good games yesterday, I think we definately deserved the win,

Odea and the medics declared themselves fit so cant use Concussion as an excuse!

Still happy with the first team only need 1 CB and maybe 1 CM(but he wont drop howson so no point)

I know Kissa wasnt too great last time out, but surely playing a bloke with concussion is not going to be any better, as was showed when he forgot to actually kick the ball.

That was a complete 100% foul anyway, whether he should have cleared it earlier or not. Blatant push in the back which made him overstep the ball, it was the only reason they scored.

I agree we deserved to win but can`t agree on Snod! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose!

My mate thought Howson had a great game, I thought he was under instructions not to touch the ball for 90 mins.

Funny how so many different views on the same players in the same game.

Was it Palace that had the monster players?

We do have a short team..even Kissa is only 6 foot.

we have no neight. we get bullied off the ball. we need a kick up the arse sometimes :D

    I know mate strange init,

Maybe I want to believe Snoddy did better than he actually did i dnt know :)

O well all I know is their keeper was **** hot and ours was bab tash,

I didnt realise Odea had been pushed in the back until I watched it again last night maybe he was too honest for staying on his feet, Chubs couldve smothered the ball but he went with his feet rather than body

Pags the height problem hasn't actually been a problem until Rachubka has been in goal, Peterborough both goals would have been prevented if Lonergan hadve been playing,

As I said to you at Peterboro if u watch Rachubka he never moves from his line and its starting to piss me off, I was a good standard of goalkeeper and I tell you something now I could do a better job than him
