Not the case Jagger my friend, I remember the bile against him on 606 (along with other players), by many of the posters here. And when I say bile I mean bile!

Gower is good enough for cover and is not a player i would call a regular first team-er, I'm glad he is with us as he can fill in and play our system when required, Is he premiership standard? well actually how many premiership standard players have we got in the first place?. Gower is just one of many that no other premiership team would take on but be fair to the guy he does an adequate job for us when called upon.....

I agree with most of that super, one of many that have lifted their perfrormance levels to a standard that is not expected of them. Utmost respect for the man who can tell his grandkids he played in the Premier League with the Super Swans!

Good post Ivor, and I would agree as well, that it doesn't matter how the gaols are scored as long as they are, I would say that though because most of my time in football was also spent as a goal poacher, many times after games in the bar, I would be asked by mates, have I ever scored a goal outside the box, or on side?? I always replied, I'll score them with my backside, as long as they count, and in one game I had the privilege of doing just that! To me Graham is starting to look a good poacher, and let's hope he gets the delivery he needs into the box, because the boy lives off those goals, and he is not happy with his football until he scores, taking part in a game is never enough for a striker!.......................

Re: Graham scoring from 6 yards. As long as they hit the back of the net i personally couldnt give a **** if they were from 3 yards or 30 yards

Re: Gower. I've always rated even though he did have a tendancy to go missing sometimes but last season he was fantastic (am i right in saying one he was one of the top assisters in the league?) But i think, i may be in the minority camp here, this season he has appeared to be quite poor in my opinion. Not sure whether its a case of the other 2 midfielders in Allen and Britton have just upped their game so much making it look that way or that Agustien started this season on fire and Gower hasnt matched up to it. All i know is having watched the last 3 games in particular there was a LOT of stray passes from him putting us under pressure and i dont think he will keep his place when Agustien is fully fit. Still think he is a good player but not good enough for our starting 11 if everyone is fit.

Well I contributed quite a lot on 606 and there was questions about him, and as he was anonymous on many many games it's right we should ask questions, as for bile I don't think so! I remember posting up a thread about him scoring his first goal for us and most people were chuffed for him.

I've never been a Gower fan but he's winning me over. Still not consistent enough though. Capable of picking out a brilliant pass one minute then giving the ball away cheaply the next. If he can remove that from his game he'd be a lot better.

Scot, I take your point of how many of our players would get into other PL clubs. Let me ask you this. We played Bolton on Saturday who are a well established PL side. yes they are going through a hard time at the moment. But how many of their players would you take in our side. For me 1 that would be cahill. we have better players than them in most positions. What do you think.

The problem is it's all opinion! We think our players are better, but most of the Bolton team have had loads of money spent on them! Personally, and I'm sure this is the same for most Swans fans, you're right I'd probably only take Cahill. Ask anyone who's a fan of an "established" PL team though and you should bet there aren't going to be many Swans players being plucked to go into other fantasy teams! By the end of the season that'll change, but what's been interesting for me is that Swansea are proving once and for all that the collective is stronger than the individual.

Jason Scotland for the Swans smashes that as better business....

bought for £25,000 sold for £2 million..... thats 80x profit as opposed to 26 times for Adam

If you are talking about pure profit, look no further than Christiano Ronaldo earning £68 million for Man-Ure on what they bought him for
