Concerning that Kesler said ‘we’re open to offers’ regarding Greaves, but said contract negotiations are ongoing. They were ongoing with Honeyman as well. Like Honeyman, Greaves has also said on record to the HDM that he wanted to stay and sign a long-term contract. I’ll be pissed off if we lose the likes of Greaves because the club’s lowballing the contract negotiations, especially when Tufan and others will be coming in on comparatively high wages.
Every player has a price though. And Boro won’t be looking to spend all the Spence money on 1 player when their issue was scoring goals not stopping them
I agree. If he goes, it will be to a Prem team like KLP. Bizarre for him to say we’re open to offers though. I don’t think Kesler or Acun have said they’re open to offers for KLP. If the club really wanted to keep Greaves, they’d say ‘not for sale’.
After one or two bits of bad news, now a bit more positivity, Tufan looks a very good signing, I think we hopefully will see the best of him. This sponsorship is a real boost, and can only bode well for the future. Having Baxter on board, now Tufan and Figueiredo/Greaves with a good striker onboard the spine of the team is looking Quality.
Agree. Need a lot more though to be serious contenders at the right end. Plenty of time still left .... although it would nice sooner rather than later so that we can hit the ground running in August.
Have we signed Tufan to take over running the canteen? He looks like my local kebob shop owner. I reckon he shares a birthday with Jay Jay Okocha.
