I can't choose between le clerc and verstappen.

It really should be verstappen but ferrari have some new parts coming.

    No way its merc.

    Wishful thinking

Can't see Mercedes winning a rave this season, unless they soundly get the best car, Verstappen and Leclarc will win 95% races left with Perez or Sainz winning the rest

It's a tough one as the car hasn't shown anything that could be depended upon.

Looking back on Schumacher at ferrari year 1, that car was a complete dog. He won a couple including 1 in the rain at barca.

I dont see where merc can pull one out with these car. There'd have to be a few cars drop out.

They are maximising return with being 5th and 6th cars and picking up prices when ferrari and perez mess up.

Sainz won’t win one race this season if Max and Charles complete the same race

Alpine with a major upgrade this weekend guys, so too Albons Williams.

Merc have hidden a lot of their car so no photos just yet though we’re expecting significant upgrades.

i mean.... whats the point hiding now?

We are significantly into the season and close to the summer break so 1 day extra pouring over you new design is not going to tip anyone off.

We will all see it is a few minutes in all its glory (or otherwise)

well its raining and it could be raining all weekend.

    great.

Well this is one thing thats a real throw of the dice now so anything could happen with the whole weekend.

Ferrari seem to fearful of messing up so always mess up strategy wise.

It could play into hamiltons hands but i kind of actually thing someone totally random could win now. (if it does actually rain all weekend)

    no shots of cars :(

If the teams are not arsed getting wet weather running in here, and some clearly are not even attempting to go out..... and i come here Sunday and have an absolutely hissy fit about them delaying the race start cos its damp I don't want to hear about safety and teams not being "ready"

We have had 2 absolute **** shows this year with rain delays.

Its patently obviously there's going to be rain about this weekend. surely teams should be told get on with it here and stop this nonsense.

That practice session was a waste of time, hopefully they’ll put in a bit more effort for practice 2

Let them protest,. If they lay down on the track every driver should get in their cars and run over them until they’re just a bloody mess on the track. That’s how you deal with these idiots.

    Seems reasonable. :bandit:

Apart from the smashed and killed F1 drivers and wrecked cars, maimed marshals etc.

What killed F1 drivers and maimed Marshall’s? The only injured will be those protesting.

How strong do you think an F1 car is? They're F1 cars, not monster trucks.

They should put those blades sticking out on all the wheels like they did on the chariot in Gladiator. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I really don’t understand the point of George coming in with a couple of mins to go putting on softs and trundling around behind Hamilton and being 3 seconds slower than Sainz’s fastest lap.

I thought it was a bit of a strange practice, I expect faster times in FP3.
