Well, if you have extra padding, the advice is always to go for vertical stripes and avoid horizontals at all costs.
Dereham away tonight at 7pm . I'm quietly confident we may get a win here , been a while since I believed we were going to win , or even score .

No Omobamidele, Byram or Hanley. Sorensen tried as a DM in a 3, Cantwell at 10. Cantwell made the second goal with a really nice ball through to Springett.
Final score 0-4 with the fourth goal scored by Dowell from the penalty spot. Been through the Pinkun commentary and Hugill was the main man in first half with 2 goals though Cantwell was also a key player looking like his old self. Dickson-Peters scored the third goal.
Smith aiming to turn up the heat in pre-season on the squad https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...-hayden-byram-idah-ombamidele-updates-9116712 He wants to test their mentality as well as their physical attributes.
The pre-season will be the first test of Smith's 'fresh start' this season. The players' reaction post relegation will be key, especially those who joined last season like Rashica, Tzolis, Lees-Melou and Sargent. It's also important for the young players trying to break into the squad and those returning from loan like Hugill, who got off to a good start at Dereham, as well as Cantwell, Mumba, McCallum, Martin and Sinani, who all need to make an impression to stay in the squad.
https://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/kings-lynn-town-norwich-ties-9142380 This is interesting from the King's Lynn manager, bemoaning that their ties to Norwich haven't been as strong as they could be, and that led to them missing out on the likes of Matthew Dennis on loan. King's Lynn were relegated whilst Dennis scored 7 for Southend in the same division (including one against King's Lynn). Whilst any kind of relationship between the clubs should probably be handled at a level above the managers and not subject to their whims, a manager keen to build bridges and who already knows the Norwich management team should be beneficial. National League South might be a bit of a lower level than Norwich perhaps want to be sending players, but hopefully they can challenge for promotion back to the National League. It might be a short-term sacrifice, but perhaps loaning 2-3 "less promising" U23 prospects to a slightly lower level than they're capable of playing at, in order to help King's Lynn get re-promoted might be worth it if it helps Norwich use King's Lynn as a "farm team" going forwards.
The club should have a responsibility to smaller clubs in the area, especially as there are no other major teams in Norfolk. The benefits should go both ways.
I think the fact that they can still train half the time at NCFC and get men's football experience should be an incentive to get players on loan there, best of both worlds without having to move house.
Smith on style of play he wants: "As I've said before, shapes and systems can be what they want but it's the style of play that is going to be the most important thing for us next season, with and without the ball. We want to be quick on transitions, win the ball back as quick as we can and we don't want to be throwing aimless balls into the penalty box. That is the sort of style that we are looking for. You can do that with multiple systems." The "multiple systems" suggests shape transitions according to the state of play. Thus an initial 4-2-3-1 in attack could morph into a 4-3-2-1 when the ball is lost and then into a 4-5-1 to cope with an opposition attack. Once the ball is won it shifts into a 4-3-2-1 and either a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1 as we attack. That could also mean more fluidity and creativity with a more flexible playmaker as well. https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...n-smith-interview-pre-season-progress-9144062
