1 night I may of course just think it's not for me, but the pooch would love it and it would give him a good walk fhr a couple of days rather than jus around the block

Just the one, but on work days there have been times I made it 2. It's how quick and easy it is and the numbers are good. I mean if you get really hungry and can't be bothered to cook you usually reach fur something quick and it's usually something unhealthy, so it's definitely a better option in those circumstances.

I weigh myself and my bf =daily and seriously every day using huel in conjunction with intermittent fasting and hiit I see all the numbers improving each day.

Yeah the dog will love it. One night is a good starting point, as it will give you a good indication of what you need, which isn’t actually a lot.

But take chief’s advise and get a tent or lighter still a bivvy bag. You don’t want to be getting cold as it will sap your energy and make you miserable at best and you run the risk of hypothermia.

If you’re heading out for more than one night, then I’d really recommend one of these. Means you don’t have to carry loads of water. (Which is heavy)

    Yeah it's great fun mate.

Can just be a few miles pootling around, a proper 40-50 mile camping/exploration adventure, or going to bike parks and doing jumps and fast downhill sections.

Bikes get you to places that cars and your feet can't reach too <ok>

    Lol no.

Places that are too remote to walk to (I mean you can but it will take you 4-5 times as long to get there) and places where there are no roads, so cars can't get there either.

What's good about biking, is that you tend to use old footpaths, trackways etc, that link the land together. Most of these are ancient paths, so there's usually some interesting history along the way too (if you're into that sort of thing)

I did extreme camping first time I went to Glastonbury.......no tent and set up base right by the main stage......didn't realise a hundred thousand feet would be stepping on us.....remember waking up with a dead arm coz some fkr was standing on it I wearily got up seen Paul weller for about 30 seconds and thought fk it and went back to sleep.

Moral of this story.....always plan the tent with the same vigor you put into finding the right drugs in the right amounts needed for a 5 day session

I've started walking up and down stairs and doing leg stretches during my breaks at work.
I'm on floor 3, walk up to floor 8 twice.
This is to try and add some strength and stability to my dodgy right knee.
Booked in for a mri at the end of the month.

You live in a great area for it, plus not too far to the border. Did a few days in the Cheviots this time last year, loved it up there.

    Well done mate.

I gave up smoking at the beginning of covid, so what's that 2-3 years ago, now can't stop eating. Weight not a problem at the mo and within my BMI when I last checked, always was in check when smoking, but the fear is now, it's not going to take much for it to spiral out of control.

    How's everyone's fatness gettng on?

I've become a bot fixed on running again, with gym being less of a draw. Get bored of the same gym after a while tbh.

When I go the gym, I do a session of heavy compounds, and round it off with a spell on the treadmill.

Pretty much that twice a week, with an on road run on one of the mornings.

Work situation changes soon so got to cancel the gym membership and it'll be just a run here and there when I get the chance after that. No idea yet where my next project will be, working on a couple at pre constuction stage and then when one starts, will be working away again for a while.

Which ****'s up my work/life balance, a lot.

    Surf/swim/cycle/walking

simply cannot be dealing with the gym. I find it mind numbing. I take my daughter swimming at our local pool and I even get bored of that after about 30 mins.

Need to exercise outside and feel like I’m having some fun with it. Otherwise the motivation just ebbs away from me
