lol there's a queue for memberships, must be a limited amount?

I'm happy sort of because now you cannot buy 2 per member so the amount these things cost and the fact that many people wont go on the internet, means that members will have a great chance of pretty much getting to all games above the general public.

 

It isnt a queue at the moment just a countdown saying you will be put in a random place in a queue at 10AM

 

It won't be a limited amount it's just everyone doing it ASAP.

 

So if it's one ticket per member, i'll have to get my dad a membership, can I buy a membership for him or will I have to buy one for me and then log into his account and wait in the queue again?

I'm in queue for the bairn online but got told to phone yesterday as its a kids ticket and 5th in queue for that one. what I will say is it never said book online this time like it did season tickets

I don't think membership will be limited - someone made the point your signing up for a chance to get a ticket to games, no guarantees I'm 15,771st in the queue at present but will pay my money for the member ship in the hope that it'll get me access to a few tickets in the season, 2-5 game I'll get to I guess, but it's worth the £20 or whatever it is.

I think the demand this year will show them they need to expand sharpish - do the Gallowgate asap and hope the listed buildings behind the east stand get discovered to be swamped in japanese knotweek and need to be demolished...

At the rate the queue ahead of me number is going down I estimate it's going to be nearly 3 hours to get to the front.

 

I've dropped 2000 places in the half hour it's been up like

 

As much as I'd not want to move away from St James' Park this demand is after 14 years of Ashley and only being gone 6 months... We could have sold 60-65,000 season tickets and still had 10K + members then general sale will always generate another 10K so think we need to be looking at 75 - 80K minimum for a stadium which would sell out week in week out atm. If you were to increase the East Stand and Gallowgate to match the Leaze and Milburn I think you could squeeze it in, especially with safe standing coming in. Question is though will you ever be able to do the East Stand? If not do we need to move?
