Hull City vice-chairman Tan Kesler hopes Keane Lewis-Potter will decide to stay at his hometown club, and resist growing overtures from Premier League Brentford.

The Bees believe they are closing in on striking a deal for the 21-year-old England Under-21 international, but Kesler hopes the Tigers' star man will remain at the MKM Stadium and lead City's push for promotion this season, despite confirming another bid had been lodged.

Why would they need to buy out his contract? This has been mentioned a few times and I don't get it. We're paying him, not him paying us. If we get rid, we save money irrespective of fee.

Best of luck with the book. I’m in for surgery in 8 days time, so will have time on my side if you want another person to read through. Anyway, I like entrepreneurial enterprise, so I hope it does really well.

You may be overloaded with offers but I would be happy to read it. I’ve an academic background and have published/edited if it helps? Good luck regardless!

No matter what price we get for KLP, if he is sold at all, the club will not receive all of the money. The price initially paid for the club was dependent of any sale of KLP, because the Allams could have sold him to Brentford last January, and Acun could have sold him the day after he purchased the club.
There will be a kick back to the previous owners if Keano is sold, as there was when Bowen made him England debut, plus the club got a tidy little windfall too.
I believe the level of reinvestment into the team depends on the future sale of KLP, maybe not in this window but the next providing where we are in the table at the time, and of course season ticket ( membership) sales. If the fans don't appear to be buying into Acuns plans then the offers we put on the table for players will be reduced accordingly.
My fear is the fans expectations are getting way too high too soon and yesterdays article outlining the reality of where we actually are as a club, 19th finish in the Championship last season and a relatively small provincial club in the Championship, was released to dampen down some of those expectations which.let's be truthful, were getting ridiculous.

This is a ski injury. But I am convinced that this originated from the bike accident. all my injuries are on my right hand side. It’s my right knee. I just don’t think it was detected at the time.

I tend to agree with the sentiments behind the final paragraph, but, serious question, are the 1st two paragraphs solid facts or just your opinion?

Not a bad player this lad, but I thought it was interesting that a league 2 club in France has a stadium capacity of 4000, Stark in contrast to England.

Vietnam's star midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai officially joined the roster of French club Pau FC after passing a medical on Wednesday.
They also have the lowest salary budget in Ligue 2, with a total of €2.93 million (US$3.05 million) paid to the players last season, according to Vietnamese media.
Its Nouste Camp home stadium’s capacity is at 4,031, the least among the 19 clubs in the French second division for the 2022-23 season.
