I was wondering about FFP headroom as well and if it carries over multiple seasons of us being in the green transfer-wise, kinda like when you don’t use your annual leave at work and it accumulates over the following years. If so, we should have loads of headroom given the players we’ve sold with the Allams reinvesting next to **** all.
Think its limited to the last 3 years - ie 'rolling 3 years'. Accountants may well correct me though.
I don't think it rolls over, but the last three years I'm pretty sure we've been in the black, so we should be good until 2025, by which point we should be a Premier League team.
What are Corendon getting in return for the sponsorship? Giacom confirmed as shirt sponsors, MKM I assume will still be the Stadium sponsor There’s nothing else tangible left to warrant one of the biggest sponsorship deals in the Championship. Training ground?
Suspect different kits may have different sponsors. Also maybe more space on back of shirt, sleeve, shorts etc? All should be revealed in the coming weeks but I'm intrigued myself. I guess the big change is Acun's reach. We're now in an international marketplace, not just a regional one. Huge difference. We're not going to sell 4x more kits in Hull this season, so I assume his merch order takes into account flogging a load of stuff in Turkey/ wherever else his media empire can drum up sales.
Unless it's been confirmed differently, Id been told Giacom will still be involved but not main shirt sponsor
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it, we're owned by Acun Medya, Acun's media company rather than Acun himself. Presumably investment into Acun Medya is indirectly of benefit to us.
Acun is apparently the sole owner of Acun Medya. Acun Medya is apparently the sole owner of Hull City. But yeah, investment and ownership are separate things so make of that what you will. Theres a reason they structured it that way as opposed to him buying it as a separate entity to the Media company. Possibly to limit his personal liability, possibly to use as a vehicle for investment, possibly both or neither.
Maybe the writing was always in the stars. Corendon have also suffered a Hull loss, like many of us! please log in to view this image
Didn't his team-mate describe him as 'scary'? I believe he has a mistake in him but will recover from it as opposed to shrinking. By all accounts he leaves everything on the park every game, so he should do well here. If you add in the fact we're trying to sign an absolute beast of a centre-forward also, then i very much doubt we'll be all fur and no knickers this season as some were suggesting yesterday.
