On a side note I am writing a book about how to invest in the stock market effectively. It’s a little different to the normal stuff as it is from a retail investor perspective. As this is the angle I teach how a normal Person can make great returns. As a retail investor and professional I have a clear view of both sides and basically destroy a lot of what pros recommended in the past like diversity of portfolios, time in the market nonsense etc. I’m about 26000 words in so far. When I am at first draft stage, I know a few of you have an interest, I would appreciate some feedback so happy to send copies to you to read and give me your thoughts. As I don’t know any of you I feel the feedback would be honest. Let me know please.
I'm simply asking whether the financial advice you're offering has worked for you personally, or your strategy to becoming rich is to sell enough copies of a book that promises the buyers of the book that it will make them rich.
Ok fair enough. I retired when I was 30. I got bored and started working again. Retired again when I was 50. Asset rich cash poor. Answer is easily
I don’t offer financial advice, although I used to. I offer a process that is effective and profitable if followed. I highlight the flaws in professionals advice and give examples. Any decision would be made by you
So about those signings.. Latest rumour is Seri has an offer in Italy, hopefully we get that tied down soon before other clubs come sniffing.
The OP was referring to where to show potential signings round, the nice outlying districts, like they do elsewhere. Our owner bringing some fans over from Turkey going into a pub is irrelevant. He wanted to take them where keen City fans go. At least he found that out, credit to him as previous owners wouldn’t have had a clue about that.
Hull City appear to have missed out on the signing of Jean Michael Seri, Hull Live understands. The Ivory Coast midfielder was a major summer target for Shota Arveladze and owner Acun Ilicali, but the Tigers will now be forced to look elsewhere in their quest to strengthen their midfield ranks. Ilicali has spent much of the summer in discussions with the 30-year-old enforcer and invited him over to Istanbul for a few days in a bid to sell him the City dream of winning promotion. Seri was then in Hull over the weekend with his family to visit the city, the Tigers' training ground and the MKM Stadium. City's Turkish owner was still confident of signing the ex-Fulham man, though vice-chairman Tan Kesler was a little more cautious in an interview with the BBC on Monday. After further conversation with his family, it's understood Seri has declined the chance to join City in what will be considered a significant setback, with a move elsewhere in Europe now likely to be on the cards.
Ah..... so hoodwink me into buying a membership and then start to break the news that these incomings are not incomings after all.
Speaking of which... took me 45 minutes to try and register two seats together. Kept going round endless loop of asking me to register family and friends (which I did) but would not accept it in the checkout. Rubbish!
