This has now got me thinking of my all time favourite Brit series.

Anyone remember A Very Peculiar Practice with Peter Davidson? It was excellent.

Throw in Cracker as well.

 

The first series of Cracker is the GOAT!

 

It was ground breaking. Nothing like it before.

 

I loved house of card, Ian Richardson was just brilliant as Francis Urquhart. the Looks to the camera and the oily breaking of the 4 wall were excellent. the 2 follow-ups were mediocre.

 

Bit of a coincidence but I was thinking about it the other day. The part where he sets up the PM on TV with his brother falsely named in a scandal. No fcking way that would have any impact nowadays.

Agree about the first series being the main one. Like Prime Suspect imo.

 

No good British drama since the 70s though!

 

The first series of True Detective is the greatest TV ever.

Been rewatching a few things lately I think that's up for a third viewing.

 

Grange Hill was probably the best drama series of the 70's.
