I didn't consider The HoneyMonster to be good enough for us . . . . then he moved on and we went on our downward spiral I wouldn't want him back, mind, 'cos we're better than him (really)
I liked him, always gave 100%. I was surprised we sold him and I think he was as well tbh. I can only assume it was Donald taking whatever cash we could get
Time will tell my man. Reports of "God given talent" is something we could utilise lol. If we were to get him in,Neil would probably paint it as his last "big" move, by that I mean club size. He was luckily unlucky that Derby were in the mess they were in. So that's why I think here is his last chance because there's every chance he could be playing Premier league football in the near future.
Good points, well made. However, Neil being the bloke he is would probably sell it as "You're 30 next birthday, last realistic chance of a "Big" move, are you going to f**k about"?
It's an odd one for me. I think he stayed a season longer than he himself wanted to because the slapped the captaincy on him.
I was reading the thread over the road about that but apparently the medication he needs is a banned substance as far as football is concerned (no idea if it's true). Hopefully he has other ways to manage it.
The problem is that apparent raw talent and ability has never been seen on a matchday consistently in my opinion. He was no superstar at Derby last season from what I saw, and what the lads round here tell me (including season ticket holders).
I hope you are right and I am wrong mate. I absolutely trust Alex, so if he rubber stamps the deal all good. Alex Ferguson is well known for having an open line for young scottish managers to ask for guidance. I suspect Alex Neil might have made that plus other calls before making this signing. For sure he wont be ringing me to ask, thankfully for us all
More talented and better are two different things. Arguably he was better than Pogba last season, who was utter ****.
Another bud rejected for the lad from Wimbledon Roker Report are reporting (originated from reports in London) apparently us and two other clubs, apparently one of the clubs interested are likely to meet the valuation though, you’d imagine that would be us?
Pritchard had went off the boil and we resurrected his career. Admittedly, Pritchard had shown his class previously. This seems to be the perfect signing for the direction that the club is heading in, imo.
