Expect him to score loads- I be love the A League (Adelaide United - COYR) but it’s still a long way behind the PL. Probably lower Championship level but entertaining.

According to a current advert on my favourite radio station “Cardiff boasts more sunshine hours than Milan” - ha bloody ha. When I was there in 73/74 for my less than successful year at UWIST, it seemed to piss down every day!!!

Is 'slapping the badge' a euphemism, akin to 'Beating the Bishop'? <whistle>

It does. I went to the POW (Polly of Wales not Prisoner of War though it felt like it) in Treforest (20 miles from Cardiff) and the moment I left the English side of the Severn Bridge (that was 10p each way when I first used it lol) I instinctively put on my wipers.

When it first opened in 1966 it was half a crown to cross each way.

I grudge the 70p it costs to cross the Itchen Bridge.
