Am I the only one who thinks they sound like the favour us? Granted it's just been a quick glance at it I've done. But bringing in measures such as owners being able to contribute to losses over £5m sounds like a better thing.
I read it that they're allowing up to trebble the losees they were previously allowing if the owners are prepared to cover any losses over £5m. How's that stopping us? Not every club has owners that can cover the losses personally.
It's set up to aid the rich clubs not the ones with rich owners and it's also been rejigged to stop Newcastles sponsorship ideals.
Newcastle will be a rich club. Its a club based in a city center that can make absolutely millions from shirt sales locally and in Saudi Arabia. Not to mention allowed for massive sponsorship deals when current contracts are out of the way. Then the hundreds of millions you get just for finishing within the premier league. Extra millions you earn if you get a European run of any level, even European Conference. This punishes clubs with poor owners and little fans, as all rules in the league punish.
