Don’t see the big deal personally. The MLS is a lot better than people give it credit for and if youre minted I think I’d rather live in LA than somewhere like Cardiff. Not really sure where people wanted/expected him to go?
I don’t think many of the really top teams would want him even on loads less money. The mid table PL teams would but what’s the point in playing for them really when you have achieved what he has already? Take the semi retirement in a good place for your family and still earning presumably big money
It would be a very sensible thing to have a very good set piece taker playing with a very tall man to aim at. I’d like that.
Options for a big shake up. The more players that can be moved on to create squad space the more opportunities there are Not surprised to see a Lyanco link as there were some in the winter . Not saying we should definitely get rid but it’s an interesting time

Sorry, while I'd love to agree. A truly elite footballer should test themselves against the best, especially before a major tournament. He was never going to join us but LA is a cop out. Real Madrid fans may have seen this earlier than others .
