The ironic thing is that during a period when the Thatcher Govt was urging pay restraint MP's wanted a big pay rise and to get round it the expenses system was amended to make it easier to claim and was clearly intended to be used to top up their wages which ended up in the farce of the switching the main home between london and their constituency so the taxpayer could do up both for them and moat cleaning etc .
they do need an expenses system but as my above post it was skewed to help them top up their wages and then it just became a game by some to see how much they could claim .
They need ****ing lynching is what they need mate. And we need a complete rethink on how much they can claim and for what because its a fuking scam like a stolen credit card is.
oh definitely but there will always need to be an expenses system as for most MP's they will need somewhere in London to live and expenses for their office staff etc .
Bollocks they do, buy a big ****ing building and make a fuking dorm out of it for them to use when down here. It's a place to sleep yeah? Same with the offices, buy a big building and use that instead of them all individually having a lush pad & office's down in London at our expense. **** me like if half the peeps I grew up with knew about expenses they'd be politicians not criminal overlords
the main office expense is staff and who the **** would want a job where for a large chunk of the year you lived in a youth hostel
Im glad you said that Not bloodsucking eton scumcunts who don't give a **** about the plebs they supposedly serve
But they can still get into the minds of the plebs and make them feel. Animosity towards their fellow workers .
I think the only thing I've been concerned with in recent times is the fuel prices going through the roof, by that I mean electricity and gas, i don't particularly enjoy driving anymore, so not too fussed over petrol prices, although that will affect food prices. But with petrol I was saying way back a hike would becoming anyway, the reason there has not been much urgency to do something about it, is because it's convenient as we head towards the year 2030 shall we say. A bit like how we help out in a war to deflect from partygate. But let's be honest here, for everyone moaning on here how many are on the breadline, we all have holidays, we all buy nice clothes, some can afford nice cars, some love a good old drink, others love a good ole bit of wacky backy, some love three grand bikes haha. I know we may be concerned for others and rightly so, but other than that on here, we reep what we sow. I don't drink, well not compared to others, I don't smoke anymore, I don't gamble, gave it all up after my youth, because I come to the conclusion if you want nice things, stop pissing it up the wall.
