The kid is not ****, he isn't great either. He relies on pace and he has missed half his first season through injured hamstrings and a couple of red card suspensions.

Now he may turn out to be elite, good, average or **** and regardless I will support him if he signs for us. What we are paying for is his potential. If you think we'll spunk £30m based on 23 games or something where he scored goals against the likes of Angers, Nantes, Bordeaux, Stade Rennais, Strasborg, Marseille and Nice then crack on.

It's this point you are failing to grasp. When you buy a young player, who, as several people have said is raw, you are buying the potential in the belief you can mould them into a top player.

I hope if he does sign he hits the ground running, scores loads and makes loads. I will support him as he'll be one of ours. I'm not going to be worried that Chaos from Cyber Space thinks he has one over me and a few others because we've pointed these facts out previously.
