Prior to the 3 signings tags Bruno and burn. Which all happened quite fast I was defiantly concerned. You can look back when we signed Tags and I am one of the only ones who said it was a fantastic signing. You can also quote me on this buy when we signed Burn I was also very positive on that one. When we signed Bruno I was orgasmic. Look back. You will see.
At this point, we need to sign the likely useless twat because we're gonna look like utter jokers if he turns us down.
I'm not fussed if we get him. Sure he looks like he's got talent but I suspect at his age a move to Newcastle and playing in the prem is going to be a very tough ask, it's not like he's an experienced 19 either. I've not got a great feeling that it will work out well.
Common sense is understanding there's people that know more about him than you and think he's going to be a future star in the game.
Yeah he’s called Steve Nickson and has overseen some pretty monumental **** ups already. I’ll never understand your obsession with the kid, I’ve no idea why you put so much faith in Nickson, but we’ll agree to disagree and I just hope we sign a better player than hoping he comes good whilst we watch Wood playing half a season to cover Wilson’s next injury.
I'm just not getting what you're not understanding over this. The kid is not ****, he isn't great either. He relies on pace and he has missed half his first season through injured hamstrings and a couple of red card suspensions. Now he may turn out to be elite, good, average or **** and regardless I will support him if he signs for us. What we are paying for is his potential. If you think we'll spunk £30m based on 23 games or something where he scored goals against the likes of Angers, Nantes, Bordeaux, Stade Rennais, Strasborg, Marseille and Nice then crack on. It's this point you are failing to grasp. When you buy a young player, who, as several people have said is raw, you are buying the potential in the belief you can mould them into a top player. I hope if he does sign he hits the ground running, scores loads and makes loads. I will support him as he'll be one of ours. I'm not going to be worried that Chaos from Cyber Space thinks he has one over me and a few others because we've pointed these facts out previously.
Questions Was he working under restriction? Who else was on his lists? How has recruitment been since Charnley wasn't involved?
£40m for Joelinton as a number 9. The end. Assuming he hasn’t got the same restrictions, it’s a bit baffling to see Pope as the first new addition and the wild goose chase for this lanky kid is borderline mental.
Nickson signed a good player in Joelinton, Bruce used him as a number 9. He wasnt a 9 at Hoffenheim and he isnt one now, he was only a 9 under Bruce. Turns out Nickson signed a tremendous player, actually. The manager misused the signing.
It's not me that isn't understanding anything mate it's you lads thinking you know better than the scouts from a fan made youtube video. The 3 of you should quit your jobs and email PSG nufc and Dortmund enlightening then to your supernatural ability to produce scout reports in 5 minutes. Questions Why do you think you know enough to draw that conclusions you've made? Is it possible a player coming from France can score goals in the premier league? Do you think the scouts have concluded the boy is capable?
I’m gonna call a Dr Phil meeting between @Roland Deschain & @Rumsfield - we all know you love each other really.
