I’ve got no idea what this kid is like beyond the usual videos but would like us to get him purely because he appears to be the clubs first choice. They stand or fall due to they choices so I hope as often as possible they get their first choice. The rest is up to them, I’m sure a lot of very experienced people have been involved in the scouting/selection process and I have confidence in Eddie Howe and his team as far as fitness and coaching are concerned. We will just have to wait and see.

Ultimately we do not know better than the scouts and we do not know what restrictions were involved financially previously, but we do know they were operating on a shoe string.

The time to judge imo was from January and so far I could make a case that every single signing has been very good and hasn't cost huge amounts.

 

not only that but players signed before then started to look instantly better with (a) better players around them and (b) better management, training, approach to matches etc etc. Proof if ever it was needed that we were exactly where we should have been with Bruce/Ashley/charnley combination running the show and with all of the above now gone, we are now heading back to where we should be!
