Can pretty much guarantee that NY & Xmas fixtures will be the local ones that you have to drive to because public transport is on reduced services, so you can’t have a beer & enjoy yourself!

 

I never get excited about the fixtures. Reason being, I know who we're playing, so all we learn is the order we play them in.

Having said that, I just remembered, I don't do many away games, so I don't worry about planning where and when I'm going.

Where's all of the fixture list I.T.K. ers gone??

In past years we'd have known at least the opening day / last day / Christmas fixtures by now, as I'm sure they used to be leaked a couple of days before to the likes of the OB / Fire Service etc.. to let them air their two pennyworth if they had any concerns.

We have some tough fixtures early on in the season. It could be a good yard stick to see what this new team can do once we’ve signed all these new players.

I wonder how long we’ll have to wait before City have a televised match on Sky?

 

Oh well, I predicted Blackburn at ours. At least I got a B and the home right. 7 games in October, oouucch.
Toughish run in.

 

An interesting start bearing in mind us getting mauled there by them towards the end of the last term could be an indication of how we look as a team now.
