Hadn't been on this thread for a little bit so when I clicked it to read the jubilation, the newest post it took me to was Bob talking about Sartori selling up. Bless him. Tbf the ITKs should always be taken with a pinch of salt, makes these forums more interesting but can get yourself wound right up if you take them as gospel.
well, first thing i saw on social media today was the KLD statement so came straight here to find out more. those with ANY kind of negative spin on this need to give their heads a good shake, this in my eyes is far better than some third/fourth party coming on board and trying to 'muscle in' on the boardroom...a man we trust and has a proven track record within football (albeit mainly through family) now owns over 50% which should stop the 'controlling interest' worries. my guess when all this started seems pretty much spot on, plenty of speculation about various possible new shareholders has been shown to be possible clickbait or self promotion from the people themselves, i always had a thought that KLD would increase his share and now has even more backing with JS, anyone doubting JS should re-watch STID. of course, many will concentrate on SD still 'being around' but right now i would compare this to 20 lads discussing what to do for holidays and 19 of them want wild camping while one (SD) wants a hotel and all the trimmings..you know he will get told to do one or feck off on his own.
Not sure about not fancying him I just think he recognised quite quickly that DN was running on empty and needed a rest. I think he will become more involved this season but will be managed correctly this time
There was outside interest, we are an attractive proposition and on an upward trajectory. KLD and JS simply exercised their option to buy. JS and the LD family won't be letting go of us anytime soon.
Well we'll see. It's all okay to me, and much better than it was yesterday. As long as Donald is obliged to fund the club on a pro-rata basis, and he has no say on whatever any total level of spending might be, he is just a fly in the ointment. Good to have it sorted, the season is round the corner.
Anyone who thinks that this is a negative outcome is basically wrong. We keep KLD who is running the club much better than we have seen over a long time. JS will have strong connections to money and his family so that is also great news. The fact that it puts to bed Storey and those Warhammer gimps TFT just clears the road for an enjoyable season where we build and then get rid of the last problem in Donald. Bring on the fixtures and a class home game to open the season hopefully....
If nothing else he's got the money from the shares he's just sold plus he could use equity from his remaining share holding in lieu of cash input.
Can someone please remind me what the shareholdings were? I suppose I could look them up, but I cba giving CM any more time in my head!
The crypto nonces by the way. Unlucky lads. Time to find another club to try and rip off you utter charlatans.
