Is it just me or is pretty much every single comment calling out her tweet as BS and saying she is the flustered one and was trying to get him to say what she wanted to hear And yet she has pinned this to her feed? I mean it’s a bold strategy straight out of the daily mail headline strategy - hope people read the headline and believe it without actually reading the article (or in this case watching the video)
It was on one of my Facebook groups, can’t remember which one! Brian Bilston keeps popping up everywhere though, he’s been described as the Poet Laureate of Twitter. I thought that one was particularly clever and thought-provoking.
Nope, you're right! Just hoping people share her tweet far and wide and focus on her words and not the actual evidence, if they just commit a couple of minutes of their time.
So those of us who predicted this and more, me included, who were labelled scaremongering lefty remoaners, can turn and say I ****ing well told you so you deluded gullible ****s. In the most light hearted bantering tone possible of course.
True, in fact some, if not many, of the billionaires will have swollen their coffers. In all fairness I have to point out this benefit, the reintroduction of duty free and the UK government's sop to the masses of the allowances below. Poor us coming back to the Netherland with our meagre amounts. https://www.mypaper.se/html5/customer/91/13532/?page=1 please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
I watched the entire video, about 15 minutes, and from the very beginning she was acting like a petulant, foot stamping, entitled child, with that really sour expression on her face. Lynch was supremely calm throughout the interview, so calm that as can be heard in the video, she falsely calls him out for ridiculing her, in an attempt to gain sympathy from the listener and maybe to provoke a more heated response from him. Starmer should be saying pretty much the same as Lynch, but won’t, but fortunately it appears that around 57% of people polled actually support RMT, which hopefully means that the public aren’t all falling for the Tory lies.
It’s worth noting that when Johnson left this get together, he was seen at another, nearby party, hosted by Rupert Murdoch. Probably getting his instructions.
Absolutely brilliant response from Lynch. If he doesn’t get sued it will confirm that he was telling the truth and the Tory MP is a liar, as will any other person be if they repeat the same lies.
Another point to take from this is the way the “interviewer” is giving the MP so much leeway and time to make his point, whilst turning to Lynch and asking a question prefaced with “Yes or no”. There is an absolute witch-hunt in the media, being led by the government obviously, and the lack of a balanced view is shameful. On news bulletins, discussing the strike, I am seeing about 99% negative reporting, with the odd comment of support being buried in the middle. George Orwell was spot on.
He’s turning out to be one of the unexpected stars of this summer, is our Mick. Absolutely excels at putting the Tory media puppets effortlessly in their place.
A piece from the Tribune about why the government and media is so anti RMT. It’s not that they might get a decent result, but they might encourage other workers to do the same. https://tribunemag.co.uk/2022/06/wh...zQlqsjgMLqnnkBcQrXBNYshFrPdbnSADPYc&fs=e&s=cl
