Monaco agreed fee for minamino. £12.9m up front with £2.6m in add ons. Can’t complain about that. Decent fee for a guy that was low down in pecking order. Didn’t quite work out but made a useful contribution
can't see it atm as i think Carvalho will be treated as an extra wide forward or even a false 9 in extremis .
Worked out fantastic as far as I'm can see. 7m spend on him. Loan fee + whatever we made selling shirts in japan His goals won us two cups last year. Hes off for near double profit. Fsg deal of ever I saw one in action
yeah…I considered him but I have him as an attacking midfielder…..whatever that means to Klopp, who knows!
Desperately need a midfielder otherwise it's going to come back and bite us on the arse, injuries and lack of decent back up.As someone else said big drop off from the first choice midfielders. Certainly don't see Jones as the answer or Elliot.
I dont think many of us do tbh, not yet at least, but if that's what klopp has in store then so be it. If we aint learned to trust him by now we're doomed Hopefully we're all pleasantly surprised by both this season. Id like nothing more tbh
Just to note. Smith Rowe. Odengard Saka Martinelli Nketieh Pepe Midfield partey and xhaka behind all of that to do all the work. Arsenal... oh I know great idea let's but another attacking midfielders in Vieira who's also small, slight and the same as what we already have. And they wonder why they absolutely feel apart under a tiny bit of pressure and ended up in europa from a postion where the couldn't really lose it.
Elliott started the first few games last year on the right side of midfield and excelled before his leg break. It was a shock to us all if I recall. I won’t rule anyone out anymore; each season I assume something or other and each season I’m wrong lol
Of Elliott, Jones, and Carvalho, Carvalho for me from what I’ve seen is the one I feel most likely to truly succeed at the club.
It's like this. People worry far too much. We pay klopp 15mil a year to do this worrying and you wanna do it for free?
All they had to do was turn up v spurs but managed to lose 3-0. As Billy would say "****ing diabolical"
Im not worried, just always eager to see us improve, granted I don't see 99% of what klopp does so that 1% is a very important job to me
Think City (you know the league winners) struggled against Spurs last season and they had an experienced team with no derby pressure involved.
