    continued from Rwanda thread
Ashton.....We know the literal meaning, I was trying to find your opinions on the wider issue
Clifton ........A few more for your to do list.
You have been challenged. Why not provide your explanation? Is the description of a woman, or a female in a Oxford dictionary incorrect? If yes could you provide your reasoning?

A poster provided their opinion. Did you disagree with it?

In my real life are you stating my mother, and then the mother of my children are not women, because their sex is fluid?

What happened to the Rwanda thread?????
    A poster was:
    1. Being silly.
    2. Trolling.
    3. Both.
Now its been turned back on them.

Ashton ......The literal meaning is as the dictionary, which I’ve never disagreed, which has been stated earlier.

If there isn’t a wider issue then why do so many people wish to transition?.
good question about the original Rwanda thread, it seems to have been hijacked

More questions for you what percentage of the population are trans? How many will transition and possess gender recognition certification?

Easy this. This is not a wide issue. So many = miniscule.

You did not answer the questions fomerly, that would be engagement and still don't.

this is possablie the hardest thing i have ever posted on this site but i have a dear friend up here in southport.. we go back over 40 years, but i have watched his son go through the agonies of gender realightment or or whatever tag you like to put on it, i have seen the bullying that that child underwent at school. also the emotional pain that ch[lds parents went through, as well as the expence off driving her endlessly to clinics in sheffield, and london, i am very proud now to to count that young lady and her new partner as very dear friends,

bravo, the other way a friend and companion of many of us had a female friend, she was in a relationship with another mate had over 200 at his funeral ... she stayed with him till the end. She is now a he and a very welcome member of our fraternity. There was a bit of discomfort when he visited the loo [ to those in the know! ] and the embarrassment of calling by female name as opposed to new male name ... but it soon wore off.

It’s not a battle John, these were the issues I was alluding to, it’s a very sensitive subject and not just a few words from a dictionary.

I work in mental health services. Mental health problems are common, and a astonishing number of people with mental health problems have been abused. Amongst the most vulnerable in society are women and girls.

Protection of the vulnerable has to define sex by biology. Being a female, or male is not a mere tag. Language is vitally important. Women and girls have a right to terms that are restricted to them, these words are necessarily exclusive. The word women upholds physical and emotional safety in society. The word women upholds dignity and privacy. The word women upholds what a person is. Women are not a sub species.

The goshtak distims the goshes. What is the gostak? The gostak is that which distims the doshes. What are the doshes? Their distimmed by the goshtak. What is the gostak? The gostak is that which distims the doshes.

We know what a woman is. In regards to sex people are simply male or female.

    Meanwhile in Bristol -

What I do object to is kids, and that’s what they are, who are under 12 and pre puberty taking blockers and all sorts of ghastly things because they (or their parents) think they have been born the wrong sex.

Let the child concerned go through puberty and let whichever hormones they may then have kick in

Whether they then turn out straight, gay or when they are old enough to make a rational choice that they won’t regret, want to transition then good luck to them

But puberty sorts a lot of emotions and uncertainty out
The trans population of the UK is somewhere between 0.3 and 0.7 of 1% by the way so is a very small number of people
