We signed Dajaku then? I missed that.

It wasn’t “announced” as such but his clause was activated when we won promotion. He’s listed as contracted to SAFC for 22/23 season

I think Dajaku will be much better suited to the Championship.

His goal at Crewe was top class and came from one of their attacks.

Neil will have to be brave to start him but he's great to have on the bench.

Good! He’s got loads of promise, just needs a little more consistency.

Just watched this again and noticed a few things.

It really should've been more than 2-0

The defender slices the ball that Wright misjudges which makes it skip up

The ball up the line, from Gooch to Roberts, was absolutely too class

Could’ve quite easily been 4 or 5. As comfortable as it gets, was never really worried.

I saw the bounce at the game. Looked like what cricketers call a tennis ball bounce. Never blamed Wright for a second as he couldn’t have judged that

I watched the whole game again yesterday, we should have had them dead and burried by half time.
They huffed and puffed a lot second half, they had to improve but what pleased me we regrouped 15 minutes into second half and closed them down again which they never had an answer too. Showed our fitness levels were top class.
As for the only real save Patto had to make, you described it brilliantly Smug, but Marcus there were some prepared to mark Wright down which was ridiculous.
Overall Patto could have got a deckchair and sunglasses out. Never in doubt that result for me.

Patto did well punching out that corner near the end where Wycombe fired into the back post. I remember watching a video of some of the training leading up to the match where Patto was practicing just that - getting pushed about with big pads and fighting though it to get to the cross.

Top marks to Neil and the coaches.

Just fast forward to the highlights - the coverage of the game and crowd reaction is great.

    Couple of things stand out:

Patterson was absolutely immense - every ball into the box was dealt with brilliantly. Amazing transformation from the nervous performance at Adams Park
Stewart's goal - so well taken, just rolled it past the keeper.

Oh, and we probably should have won by 4 or more

Alex Neil and a load of the players (Batth, Gooch and Broadhead to name a few) singing along with the supporters on the pitch after the game was enough to set me off… :emoticon-0103-cool:
