the milky bar kid could just pump 41 million into the club and ask them for 39 million as their contribution but he hasn't got it
I think if they **** this up they will **** themselves as they will have to continue funding the club....it could criple them....we want then out asap.....they NEED to be out asap
Sounds like they’re not the only ones playing hardball. I think they’re out of their league. They will blink first.
I’d heard about the bloke who did this but didn’t realise it was where Dave Smiths is ! ya live and learn
No idea who Deodorant is but I wouldn't put much stock in what they say. Unless you're one of the few people who actually own the club you don't know for sure what's going on. Let's wait and see.
The thing is they will have to sell at some point as there is no way they can afford the financial commitment they will have to put in, in the championship. I said earlier it would be funny if the interested parties had connections to KLD and where stringing dumb and dumber along then pull out last minute. Then if no-one else is interested KLD can then offer what he wants and they will have to take the best they can get and let's hope its what they deserve, **** all
He has three massive advantages. Already done due diligence Already passed EFL checks Already runs the club without interference. Donald believes he has the Crown Jewels but the reality is that he's trying to sell shares with little current influence. They only have value if KLD and Sartori are subsequently bought out or they're sold for a profit. That would include the cost, the expenses involved in buying and any funding to the club. If not the shares may devalue if the club is relegated or marooned in this division for years. Donald has very few advantages, in fact I can't see one.
I love this thread, so easy to catch up on the gossip and laugh along at the rest of the posts. Take this morning I have discovered Mrs Smug and I have a mutual interest and that despite it being pre season and a few weeks since Wembley I still get emotional at the videos. On the takeover front, SD and CM can attempt to play hardball all they like, they are out of their depth financially, we know it, the interested parties know it, everyone but those two know it. I remain very relaxed that they will soon be gone, they don't have the money or the influence to play true hardball
With respect, they are not playing hard ball, I'm not the best at grammer so bare with me on this. I have no doubt rtg will miss quote me but hey ho, they must have nowt better to do with their lives than watch this forum and slag people off. The situation is this believe it or not, this is where we are. They had done a deal to sell the shares, all sorted but the buyers did not get the assurances from the other board members to be able to complete the deal. Another pair came in sale is agreed due proccess follows EFL agreed fit and proper, proof of funds to buy the shares thats done. The legals on this are ongoing, I don't know how long this takes. A N Other pair come in 2 weeks ago and they to are going through the processes. If KLD goes back on his offer they can sell to whoever, the fact JS decided after Wembley to hang on changed things. You see things change in business, but rtg can never accept that. Because loads on there want things done at the drop of a hat, if it's not done straight away, they think gobbling off will get it done quicker. For the last time to all who care, I have never posted stuff passed on by CM, JS, or SD, yes I speak to them quite often but I never have or will pass on duff info. I hope that gives a bit of clarity. Let's see which muppet from rtg posts about this 1st. They need a life. OH and BTW they want out asap, I think JS will say till Xmas window.
Fair post tbf. Whether people believe it or not there's no need to become aggressive and shouty ... ... thankfully, people on here have a laid back 'thanks, let's wait and see' attitude. Personally I'm sure there's a bun fight going on with all kinds of shenanigans. I was told Donald had 'agreed a deal' but I've come to realise that's only the start of the process ... ... not the end, no matter how much I hope it is.
