Not that bothered about first game tbh just hoping the aways I wanna do are at a suitable time. Wouldn't mind a trip to your gaff on boxing day. Would be nice if we got a trip to Bournemouth in either August or April but no doubt the authorities won't have it and will send us there on a Tuesday night in February. No chance of you playing Arsenal on opening day btw.
Best to start with a run of easy fixtures. I find the league is very much about inertia... You start winning a bunch and you'll keep winning a bunch. Drop points in several in a row and it's hard to get your groove back. Also, never know how ready you'll be at season's start. Best to have an easier fixture just in case some of the team still have a bit of off season bellyfat
Everyone happy with their fixtures? We start off with Southampton at home, they beat us there last season so hoping we right that wrong. Got two away London derbies against Chelsea and West Ham in the opening month. Will be a solid early test for what is hopefully looking like a pretty new squad for us. NLDs in October and January.
Got to be happy with ours, non of the big 6 as a run like last season, nicely spread, hopefully have enough points on the board by April as May looks our toughest month.
Good start for us. Brighton home first game, Liverpool home early on too. Forest at home first game after world cup, so an easy one.
not checked yet but I’m happy enough with the Saints but this means Libby can’t go…the fixture has come far too early for him to visit the Lane. Anyway who’s our last 4 games against?
Palace h Villa a Brentford h Leeds a October and April gonna be heavy months for us, 6 games in each and we’ll have some CL group games in October too, squad gonna be proper stretched for that.
Palace away on the friday night for us. That will be a tough fixture. Then we're at home to Lesta, so let's see if Flossy fancies a rerun of the bet he 'exited' @FosseFilberto
We have to play City twice in the league next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually think the fixture list is pretty decent next year, the most challenging part about it is that we have to play four of the more difficult opponents directly after midweek European games. City, Chelsea, Spurs, and Arse. So we're guaranteed 4 difficult back to back games with travel in our first 6 months. Other than that, I'm happy with the fixtures.
