Yes, but it will be portrayed as our government rescuing us from left wing idiots who are preventing them from governing.
Leaving the ECHR is fine by me as long as it means we are free to torture, degrade and treat all Daily Mail reporters and readers inhumanely as we please in the knowledge they have no redress. And to deny Nadine Dorries the right to a fair trial.

I mean, I was content for three ghosts to visit every single Tory MP on Christmas Eve, but sending them all for a quiet chat in Room 101 could also work...

Ant-immigration is about scapegoating. Scapegoating is, as I found out rather memorably in a group observation psychology class, the way groups unite. The Rwanda bit is just another way to create a group hate for fun and profit.

Every study of the impact of immigrants on a country shows that it is on balance positive. A handy example is the impact of immigration on what became the USA from 1492 to the present.

There's a theory doing the rounds that the Tories never planned for the flight to leave, as they were banking on either the High Court or the ECHR to step in and then give them an excuse to howl about beaurocracy and/or the EU standing in their way (even though the ECHR and EU are not the same thing, no matter how much the gammonati conflate the two) - and when they weren't, the Tories were bricking it as that meant they might actually have to go through with it

...yes, that does sound uncannily like David Cameron's genius idea to hold a referendum on EU membership

Yvette Cooper is far from perfect, but when she is in full flow in the HoC - particularly against the idiot fascist cockwomble Patel - it is an absolute delight!

Of course, Pol Patel focused on what is really important...

I'm surprised nobody in the HOC picked this up.

Priti Patel describing the crime gangs - "despicable in their nature and their conduct, evil people treating human beings as cargo."

    The irony! <doh>

And said with a straight face. After a court judges what she's doing is illegal. The lack of self-awareness is borderline the stuff of a Nuremburg Rally.

    I thought exactly the same!
In comedy parlance, this a great set up. Manna from heaven for a decent Opposition, even if the Media are too subservient to take advantage.

However, the overriding feeling I have is pure hatred for the despicable inhumanity of these bastards.
